Congratulations to Shauna Cyr for her recent commitment to the University of Central Arkansas! The M.R.S. Team is so proud of your accomplishments!
Shauna began the recruiting process with us her freshman year of high school. I asked Shauna some questions about her journey and her decision to commit to UCA.
Why is the University of Central Arkansas your perfect fit?
“Everything about Central Arkansas made it the perfect fit for me. Besides it’s academic program, what really got me was the coaching staff and the relationships each player had with the coaches. They are not only a fun loving bunch of people, but they have the drive to win and become better and better with each practice. The feel of the school made me feel at home, along with the southern hospitality from students on campus.”
How was your experience working with Kara Hill and the My Recruiting Solutions Team?
“Kara and My Recruiting Solutions made it possible for me to play at the next level. Always pushing me to be a better player. They helped me not only with the recruiting process, but directing me in the right paths to choose a high level volleyball club which will take me to the next level, and a university that fit me. Without Kara I wouldn’t have been able to expose myself as a player to college programs and wouldn’t have considered going to school as far as Arkansas. Now I can’t see myself going anywhere else.”
Do you feel prepared to play at the next level?
“Yes, I do feel ready to play at the next level. When I went to visit University of Central Arkansas I realized I am ready to play at the next level and move on into a new chapter of my life. I’m looking forward to my upcoming club season as well as my unofficial visit to Arkansas and beginning my career as a college athlete.”
