I’m Receiving Letters and Recruiting Questionnaires But I’m Not Receving Offers. What Am I Doing Wrong?

Numerous student athletes receive college recruiting letters and college recruiting questionnaires.  Just because you are a student athlete receiving interest does not mean you will be recruited!  Please understand that you are one of many receiving letters and if you truly want to play in college you will listen to my advice.  Following up with college coaches is the primary way to get recruited.  When a college coach sends you a letter, they don’t know if you (the student athlete) are actually interested unless you share with them that you are interested.  You really need to call the coach and ask some questions about their program.

These days, families are having to invest money in visiting schools to show coaches that there is significant interest.  Some college coaches will only seriously consider you if you visit their school.  There are a lot of student athletes to choos from in this country and around the world.  The way to stand out is to follow up, do your research and visit the schools who are a close match to what you are looking for in your college experience.  If you do not know what you are looking for, perhaps you should be working with someone who can provide you guidance on what is available.

At My Recruiting Solutions, our primary goal is to help you understand the recruiting process and to find the perfect collegiate fit.  We walk you through the process from the beginning stages to making a decision and committing.  We are passionate about helping student athletes define their goals and commit to a program that is going to help them get a huge start in life.  For more information on My Recruiting Solutions contact us and we will answer your questions and see how we can help you!
