Recruiting Tip: What is University Athlete and why is it important? University Athlete is a recruiting tool college coaches use to track prospective student athletes. UA is not a recruiting service. College coaches will use the University Athlete app to find players at tournaments, identify new players, evaluate, and take notes.
You need to register for a University Athlete profile right away if you do not have one already. Once you register, it takes a few days to be verified before you can access the profile. I would highly recommend setting a reminder for yourself to check back on your profile monthly to ensure the information remains up to date. It’s very important you register this week before the major recruiting tournaments.
