This week the phone has been ringing off the hook from college coaches, and student athletes who may be looking to transfer. If you are reading this post, and you are in the position of having to transfer, let me begin by saying I am terribly sorry. Change is never easy, and if it was unexpected, you may be feeling really sad and angry. The good news is there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You have another opportunity to get this decision right. Take a deep breath and relax, if you still want to play in college, there is a home for you.
I am hosting a college recruiting showcase for college transfers on Saturday, January 17th at Tstreet Volleyball Club in Irvine, California. I am even opening up my home up to athletes who want to travel and need a place to stay. I’ll arrange for you to get picked up at the airport, and have you dropped back off at no additional fee. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure in front of hundreds of college programs.
If you are feeling lost and confused, send me an email at [email protected] and I would be happy to counsel you through this process. Do not give up your dreams of playing in college. Do not get in a panic and take the first offer either. Take your time, do your homework, and ensure you find the “perfect” fit! Transferring once is easy, transferring twice, not so much. Coaches begin to think you are the problem, so really think this through before making your decision.
